Personalised photo Christmas postcards
These stunning Christmas postcards are so easy to make; all you need are some of your favourite photos! If you’re an avid photographer you can use this opportunity to show off some of your favourite images from 2016. What’s even better is you can get 45 FREE 6×4 prints every month with Free Prints – www.freeprints.co.uk all you have to do is pay for the postage, which starts from as little as £1.49. Fab!
You can pick out whichever embellishments you want to add to your Christmas postcard – we chose red ribbon and felt snowflakes to make it even more festive, but you can style these up however you like.
Potato painting cards
If you have kids this card idea is a great one to get them involved and embrace the spirit of Christmas, all you need is a potato and some paint. Simply cut the potato into the shape you want, we chose triangles as we found they looked just like Christmas trees, but you can pick any shape you like! If you have pens or crayons laying around you can decorate your trees with baubles and a star too!
If you’re feeling creative here are some stencil ideas
The beauty of this card is you can literally make anything you like from little knick-knacks you have lying around, try making a Christmas tree similar to the one below by using some left over ribbon from your Christmas wrapping!
Who knew you could make such a stunning card from a piece of string and some beads. This one is great for the kids to get involved with too! Literally, all you need is some string and beads. You can pick these types of beads up from pretty much any craft store, or craft section of your main shopping centre, for next to nothing! We love how the beads look just like baubles! Follow the image below to make your very own beaded Christmas tree.
Our favourite of the five is this simple button card. You can pick up pretty much any type of button you like from your local craft store, in absolutely any colour. This is our favourite because we love the diversity you have when using buttons, you can follow the image below and make a pretty green Christmas reef, or you could make a Christmas tree, a snowman, a stocking… the list is endless.
